Living in such a 'meat-centric' world, I'm constantly reminded of how different I am due to my eating habits. And then once in a while something wonderful happens that makes me feel a little less of an outsider. Last night my house was full of macho guys watching the NHL hockey play-offs, and they all freaked-out over how good this peanut butter and chocolate pie was. They didn't care that it was vegan and they didn't roll their eyes or act disgusted when they heard it had tofu in it. They simply licked their plates clean, asked for seconds, and loved it. It's nice to know that peanut butter and chocolate can unite meat eaters and vegetarians alike!

This reminds me of those "accidentally vegan" products. People have no idea how good it can be to eat vegan!!
Chocolate and peanut butter were just made to be together!
desserts (especially peanut butter & chocolate desserts) are ALWAYS capable of bringing omnivores and herbivores together, in the most delicious way possible :0)
guess what I just put in the freezer?
hopefully everyone shall make such pies and bring peace into everybody's hearts. who am I kidding? but still, yummy.
That pie looks good, you must have a steady hand to decorate it like that!
I have tagged you for a six word memoir, Megan. If you want to join in, you have to think of six words to describe youself and then choose another 5 bloggers to join in.
Vegan food can be so good, it sometimes makes you angry that no one else knows but you!! Well, that's why we all like to share our food, right? Your dessert looks delicious. Wish I had some!
Well, hopefully those meat-centric boys will remember this positive experince with vegans and tofu and just maybe they'll never wrinkle their noses in disdain at anything vegan... ever...
I have several friends who tell me to bring them my vegan treats, but none of the other stuff. It's a step in the right direction! The pie is gorgeous!
the taste of peanut butter and chocolate pie is a sensual pleasure in itself, existing in the same world as we have known... For myself, I can enjoy the wicked pleasure of peanut butter and chocolate pie ... entirely by myself. Furtiveness makes it better.
"I love chocolate. Have you ever seen a chocolate fountain? It is wonderful! Check this out.."

natural properties of PB & chocolate, AND it's pretty! fight the good fight Megan!
and those nalshniki (I'm totally botching this word, haha) from the other post sound soooo good.
Well, now I know what I'm taking to the potluck I've been invited to attend. What better combination is there than peanut butter and chocolate?
I'm coming over. i want some. :P
Mmmmmm....
How fun to have the hunks over to eat peanut butter pie!! Looks fabulous!
Mmm...the chocolate drizzled top looks fabulous!
Way to show those sports-watching boys!
Hey Guys......mmmmm....chocolate and peanut butter.
I don' t have a steady hand...I put the melted chocolate into a squirt bottle, and then did the drizzling!
good tip Megan! Are you going to have a try with the 6 words?
I am so hungry right now! That seriously looks amazing!!!
Good one! If only everything was vegan, it would be so much easier a world to live in.
this looks totally perfect!
